（10） A person convening a general meeting of members may, in lieu of sending the notice in writing under paragraph （8）, send such notice by an Electromagnetic Means with the consent of the members pursuant to the provisions of the articles of incorporation. In this case, the person convening a general meeting of members who sent said notice by the Electromagnetic Means shall be deemed to have sent the notice in writing under the same paragraph.

（2） A person convening a general meeting of members who has gained the consent under the provisions of the preceding paragraph shall not issue a notice of convocation to said members by an Electromagnetic Means when any of said members has stated in writing or by an Electromagnetic Means that he/she would not accept a notice of convocation by an Electromagnetic Means; provided, however, that this shall not apply when said member has also given his/her consent under the same paragraph at another time.

In the case where a request under the provisions of Article 47, paragraph （2） of the Old Act has been made or the auditor has carried out the procedure for convening the general meeting prior to the enforcement of this Act, the provisions then in force shall remain applicable for said general meeting after the enforcement of this Act.
