- ２ 主務大臣は、前項の規定による公表につき、必要があると認めるときは、機構に、特定保守製品等の経年劣化に関する技術上の調査を行わせることができる。

- ２ 特定保守製品等の製造、輸入又は小売販売（一般消費者に対する販売をいう。以下この項及び第三十四条において同じ。）の事業を行う者は、その製造、輸入又は小売販売に係る特定保守製品等の経年劣化による危害の発生の防止に資する情報を収集し、当該情報を一般消費者に対し適切に提供するよう努めなければならない。
（2） Any person engaging in the manufacture, import or retail （meaning a sale to general consumers; hereinafter the same shall apply in this paragraph and Article 34） of the specified maintenance products, etc. shall collect information contributing to the prevention of the occurrence of danger due to age-related deterioration of the specified maintenance products, etc. manufactured, imported or retailed by the person and shall endeavor to provide this information properly to general consumers.〔【出典】日本法令外国語訳データベースシステム 〕
- 二 設計標準使用期間の経過に伴い必要となる経年劣化による危害の発生を防止するための点検（以下この節において単に「点検」という。）を行うべき期間（以下「点検期間」という。）

- 特定保守製品の所有者は、当該特定保守製品について、経年劣化に起因する事故が生じた場合に他人に危害を及ぼすおそれがあることに留意し、特定保守製品の保守に関する情報を収集するとともに、点検期間に点検を行う等その保守に努めるものとする。
