３ 事業者は、第一項の機械等については、常時有効に保持するとともに、空気呼吸器等については、常時清潔に保持しなければならない。

事業者は、坑内の作業場における炭酸ガス濃度を、一・五パーセント以下としなければならない。ただし、空気呼吸器、酸素呼吸器又はホースマスクを使用して、人命救助又は危害防止に関する作業をさせるときは、この限りでない。
