１ 事業者は、掘削、採石、荷役、伐木等の業務における作業方法から生ずる危険を防止するため必要な措置を講じなければならない。

事業者は、令第六条第十一号の作業については、採石のための掘削作業主任者技能講習を修了した者のうちから、採石のための掘削作業主任者を選任しなければならない。

事業者は、地山の崩壊、土石の飛来等による労働者の危険を防止するため、隣接する採石場で行なわれる発破の時期、浮石落しの方法等必要な事項について当該採石場との間の連絡を保たなければならない。

事業者は、坑内で採石作業を行なう場合において、落盤、肌落ち又は側壁の崩壊により労働者に危険を及ぼすおそれのあるときは、支柱又は残柱を設け、天井をアーチ状とし、ロツクボルトを施す等当該危険を防止するための措置を講じなければならない。

事業者は、採石作業を行う場合において、運搬機械等及び小割機械が労働者の作業箇所に後進して接近するとき、又は転落するおそれのあるときは、誘導者を配置し、その者に当該運搬機械等及び小割機械を誘導させなければならない。

事業者は、採石作業を行なうときは、あらかじめ、前条の規定による調査により知り得たところに適応する採石作業計画を定め、かつ、当該採石作業計画により作業を行なわなければならない。

事業者は、採石作業を行なうときは、あらかじめ、運搬機械等及び小割機械の運行の経路並びに運搬機械等及び小割機械の土石の積卸し場所への出入の方法を定めて、これを関係労働者に周知させなければならない。

事業者は、採石作業を行なうときは、物体の飛来又は落下による危険を防止するため、当該作業に従事する労働者に保護帽を着用させなければならない。

事業者は、採石作業を行なうときは、運転中の運搬機械等及び小割機械に接触することにより労働者に危険を及ぼすおそれのある箇所に、労働者を立ち入らせてはならない。

事業者は、採石作業（坑内で行なうものを除く。）を行なう場合において、崩壊又は落下により労働者に危険を及ぼすおそれのある土石、立木等があるときは、あらかじめ、これらを取り除き、防護網を張る等当該危険を防止するための措置を講じなければならない。
The employer shall, in the case of carrying out quarrying work （excluding work carried out in a pit） and when there exist earth and rocks, standing trees, etc., which are liable to cause dangers to workers due to collapse or fall, take measures to prevent the said dangers by removing them, providing a protective net, etc.〔【出典】日本法令外国語訳データベースシステム 〕

事業者は、採石作業を行なう場合において、第四百条第一項の採石作業計画が前条の規定による点検等により知り得た地山の状態に適応しなくなつたときは、遅滞なく、当該採石作業計画を当該地山の状態に適応するよう変更し、かつ、変更した採石作業計画によつて作業を行なわなければならない。
The employer shall, when carrying out a quarrying work in which the quarrying work plan described in paragraph （1） of Article 400 becomes unsuitable to the conditions of natural ground which was known by the checkup, etc. pursuant to the provision of the preceding Article, etc., alter without delay the said quarrying work plan so as to suit such conditions of such ground, and carry out the quarrying work by the changed quarrying work plan.〔【出典】日本法令外国語訳データベースシステム 〕
