２ 法第二十六条第二項の国土交通省令で定める資格は、第一級総合無線通信士、第二級総合無線通信士又は航空無線通信士とする。

２ 航空通信士の資格についての技能証明は、前項の規定によるほか、国土交通省令で定める電波法（昭和二十五年法律第百三十一号）第四十条第一項の無線従事者の資格について同法第四十一条第一項の免許を受けた者でなければ、受けることができない。
（2） No person may be issued a competence certificate as a flight radiotelephone operator unless he/she has complied with the provisions of the preceding paragraph and has been licensed in accordance with Article 41 paragraph （1） of the Radio Regulatory Act （Act No. 131, 1950） with respect to such qualifications as a radiotelephone operator under Article 40 paragraph （1） of the same law, as may be specified by Ordinances of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.〔【出典】日本法令外国語訳データベースシステム 〕

４ 航空通信士の資格についての技能証明又は航空英語能力証明に係る指定航空従事者養成施設の課程を修了した者に対する当該技能証明又は航空英語能力証明に係る学科試験については、申請により、これを行わない。ただし、当該航空従事者養成施設の課程を修了した日から起算して一年を経過した場合は、この限りでない。
（4） In the case of a person who has completed the course of designated airman training school pertaining to flight radiotelephone operator qualification or for aviation English proficiency certification, upon application, paper examinations pertaining to the applicable competence certification or aviation English proficiency certifications will not be conducted. ５ 第一項の規定により航空通信士の資格に係る技能証明を申請する者は、技能証明申請書提出の日から二年以内に無線従事者免許証の写しを国土交通大臣に提出しなければならない。
