１　一般ガス事業者は、正当な理由がなければ、その供給区域又は供給地点における一般の需要に応ずるガスの供給を拒んではならない。

２　前項の申請書には、供給区域及び供給地点の図面その他経済産業省令で定める書類を添附しなければならない。

２　経済産業大臣は、一般ガス事業者がその供給区域の一部又は供給地点において一般ガス事業を行なつていない場合において、公共の利益を阻害すると認めるときは、その一部について供給区域を減少し、又はその供給地点を減少することができる。

２　経済産業大臣は、特に必要があると認めるときは、供給区域、供給の相手方たる一般電気事業者又は供給地点を区分して前項の規定による指定をすることができる。

３　この法律において「簡易ガス事業」とは、一般の需要に応じ、政令で定める簡易なガス発生設備（以下「特定ガス発生設備」という。）においてガスを発生させ、導管によりこれを供給する事業であつて、一の団地内におけるガスの供給地点の数が七十以上のものをいう。
（3） The term "Community Gas Utility Business" as used in this Act shall mean the business of generating gas at a simplified gas generating facility specified by a Cabinet Order （hereinafter referred to as a "Specified Gas Generating Facility"） and supplying such gas via pipelines to meet general demand at not less than 70 gas service points within one （1） housing complex.〔【出典】日本法令外国語訳データベースシステム〕
３　前条の規定は、第一項の場合（供給区域又は供給地点の減少の場合を除く。）に準用する。

３　経済産業大臣は、特定電気事業者がその一部の供給地点において特定電気事業を行つていない場合において、公共の利益を阻害すると認めるときは、その供給地点を減少することができる。

４　一般電気事業者及び卸電気事業者は、一般電気事業者にその一般電気事業の用に供するための電気の供給を約しているときは、正当な理由がなければ、電気の供給を拒んではならない。一般電気事業者がその供給区域内に供給地点を有する特定電気事業者と第二十四条の二第一項の補完供給契約を締結しているときも、同様とする。
（4） A General Electricity Utility or Wholesale Electricity Utility that has agreed to supply electricity to another General Electricity Utility for its General Electricity Business shall not refuse to supply electricity without justifiable grounds. ４　特定電気事業者は、第一項の規定による届出をした料金その他の供給条件以外の供給条件により、その供給地点における需要に応じ電気を供給してはならない。ただし、振替供給を行うときは、この限りでない。

４　経済産業大臣は、第一項又は第二項に規定する場合を除くほか、特定電気事業者が次の各号のいずれかに該当すると認めるときは、第三条第一項の許可を取り消し、又はその供給地点を減少することができる。
（4） In addition to the cases prescribed in paragraph 1 or paragraph 2, the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry may, when he/she finds that a Specified Electricity Utility falls under any of the following items, rescind the license granted under Article 3, paragraph 1 or reduce the number of service points.〔【出典】日本法令外国語訳データベースシステム〕
４　電気事業者は、その事業（第二項の規定により供給区域、供給の相手方たる一般電気事業者又は供給地点を区分して第一項の規定による指定があつたときは、その区分に係る事業）を開始したときは、遅滞なく、その旨を経済産業大臣に届け出なければならない。

７　特定電気事業者は、第三条第一項又は第八条第一項の許可を受けた供給地点以外の供給地点における需要に応じ電気を供給してはならない。

六　特定電気事業でその供給地点が一般電気事業者の供給区域内にあるものにあつては、その事業の開始によつて当該一般電気事業者の供給区域内の電気の使用者の利益が阻害されるおそれがないこと。
